i have a kenmore fridge with an icemaker #m1 SA8868, my ice apparantley is not freezing completely before dropping. i keep getting large blocks with the ice freezing on top of each other. can this be fixed. i have the freezing setting at high trying something but does not correct the problem.

The first thing I would do is check the temperature in the freezer. It suppose to be bellow 5°F for good ice maker performance.

For the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the fridge.
