Dear Sirs,
The soap dispenser has a rectifier on it ---- how can I test it??? I do have a VOM w/ diode tester but I do not know how to ust the diode tester section:confused: . I would rather replace the rectifier ( if non-functional) rather than the whole dispenser unit.
Thanks,
Lew L

Hi Lew,

No one service manual has a such diagnosis instructions nor the schematic.

Bosch does not sell such parts.

My recommendation is to replace the whole dispenser as instructed by the manufacturer.

- The part number for the soap dispenser is AP2834000

Gene.

Thanks Gene and others,

Replaced dispenser in about 15 minutes ( thank God for battery powered screwdrivers ). The little printed circuit board did have a burntout resistor. I'll be working hard to find this board and if I can't -- it's off to Radio Shack for the resistor.
