Reach in under the control panel and turn the recessed defrost timer knob til lthe compressor stops. Now check for defrost action in the freezer. If none, you probably have a bad defrost thermostat, a round thing clipped to the evaporator coil, part # AP3108454. If it defrosts, replace the defrost timer AP2984369
