I bought a used Frigidaire stack washer/dryer without being able to try it out. Unfortunately the seller was not honest with me. The washer works fine, but the dryer drum seems to be froze up. It hums like it is trying to start, but it won't. Any ideas on what it is or is it time to play taps?

Sounds like the motor has gone bad. If you need the correct part number then post the complete model number of the dryer.

Thanks for your help. I had a feeling that it was probably going to cost a few pennies to fix.
