I bought a washer and dryer that was working well. I moved it but didn't lock the tub down ( didn't even know how) and now when we try to run a load it thumps like it is out of balance. I have checked that and it isn't. It is also level.
I have heard that there is a simple fix and that something has to be adjusted to tighten a " tension" or something. This is a base model GE and isn't worth the price of a service call.

Where is the adjustment on this and how should it have been locked down for shipping?

Thanks

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the washer.

Gene.
