My thermador takes about 4 hours to complete a cycle. I have also noticed that I must clean the inside much more often. I think that the water isn't being heated to the correct temperature, and the machine is trying to heat it as it continues to operate, causing lengthy cycle times. Could that be correct? If so, how do I check the computer, the heater, the capacitor (if it controls the heater) or anything else to see which is the problem?

Your thoughts are much appreciated.

Hi Paul,

What it shows on the display during the wash cycle? Does it count down time as usual?

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Thermador DW246US (FD 7711-7912) | AppliancePartsPros.com
