refrig is warm, but freezer works fine. no ice on coils, fan blowing fine. no air blowing from vent in refrig very disgusted need hep before food spoils again this happened last month:mad: , then appeared tp correct itself. i thought it was because the freezer was packed with food, covering up the air vent, but thats not the case.

We Took The Back Panel Off Of The Refrig And I Did Not See Ice On The Coils, And The Fan Was Blowing. I NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO CHECK THE EVAPORATOR COILS FOR ICE. I THOUGHT THE EVAPORATOR COILS WERE TO DRY UP WASTE WATER, UNLESS ICE ON THE COILS MEANS SOMETHING IS AWRY.

while the compressor is running you should have FROST on the evaporator coils ( those coils in the FREEZER ) ... the evaporator coils absorb HEAT which leaves cold air ... ( condenser coils beneath refrige, disappates heat into the room allowing refrigerant to return to absorb more heat ! )
