The dishwasher has started making a buzzing /rattling sound before the start of each cycle. It seems to be running fine otherwise but I hadn't noticed this ound before. It stops once the water starts to fill.

Hi.

Open the toe panel and try to locate where the sound comes from. Pay attention to the water inlet valve.

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

The sound seems to be occurring when the dishwasher is draining. It seems to drain completely and the sound is loudest when it starts draining. I also noticed that there is a small leak around the door. The water was on the door panel and a small spot on the floor.

Thanks

Hi.

There could be some unwanted objects in the drain pump or even inside the wash pump.
Remove the drain pump and check it. If nothing in there - replace the pump.

I will check it later today. I took the door panel off to watch the seal while dishwasher was running. There is an area in the middle of the seal that does not extend as far. Some water enters the tray in the middle doesn't fill it or leak. The rest of the seal seems tight. Is this normal? Thanks

Hi.

Run the dishwasher as you normally do. Open the door during the wash cycle and check if there are any bubbles?
If you see bubbles - stop prewash the dishes with hand washing soap.
