My dishwasher is leaking between the pump and the motor i'm trying to find as much about the pump before i take it apart.I feel it might be the shaft seal. Other then the leaking it works fine, I dont want to buy the pump motor ass. unless I have to:D .Its a GE model #gsd2200z02ad

If it is leaking between the pump and the motor it is the shaft seal. But one thing you have to look out for is sometimes the connector on top of the pump will leak and the water will run down between the pump and motor. If that is the case replace the connector and if not replace the pump seal this page should help with that GE Dishwasher Pump Leaking Repair Guide Read the section on pump seal.

Thank you it's what i was feeling was wrong and will order parts when the repair is done i will post the results.
