When you start the dryer it does dry the cloths.But ,the timer does not turn off the dryer, unless you open the door.Is it the timer that is bad or is it a resistor. Thanks John

Hi John and Debbie

I would order both the timer and the resistor. Replace the resistor and if that fixes it, send back the timer. If it does not fix it, replace the timer and see if that does the trick. You will end up keeping the resistor but it is not expensive.
