When I turn on my washer, it will fill up and thats it. If you set it to a larger load it will fill up to that level and stop working period. Thanks

I think it the timer is that correct?

The timer may be bad but it is unlikely. On some Whirlpool models the lid switch will cause not to agitate or spin. That is the first thing I would check. Hinge the control panel up and check for continuity across the lid switch with the lid closed. Clothes Washer Repair Guide

I replaced the timer because I had already ordered it. It worked for a while, so I checked the lid switch. That was the problem
