The original problem started with the tub not spinning durning the spin cycle. I would open the lid and hold the lid switch down with a screw driver and spin the tub by hand. The speed would slowly increase and eventually gain the proper RPM's. Now, this temporary method does not work. I don't hear the motor, the tub does not spin, and the pump does not work leaving the washer full of water. Any repair suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you hear a hum in spin, you have something clogged in the pump, just clean out. If no hum probably a bad lid switch. If slow spin, you have a bad clutch and sticking brake shoes.
