Hello,

I'm trying to wire an old GE washer motor to drive a pump via a belt off 115v wall current. The motor came off a working washer but the washer is long gone and I've got no schematic. However, I do have a couple of good pictures so, hopefully someone here can help me get this done.

Thanks.

Here is some further info.
All the motor winding wires connect to the bottom of the above switch. The pigtail wires connect to the top of the switch. The two labeled "P" connectors both have blue wires coming out to the pigtail. The other pins, 2, 3, 5, 1, and 4 have wires of exclusive colors. Pin 4 has an orange wire from the pigtail but there is no wire to the motor hooked up below it and I'm not sure at the moment but, I recall pin 5 is the same. All the pins seem to be siamesed top to bottom.

Using this diagram;

I was able to figure it out.

1 is common neutral.
3 and 5 are run circuits one is high and the other low but I forget which one is what at the moment.

2 and 4 are the start circuit. I did get to try this wired both ways since when I first started it, it spun CCW and I needed CW.

Hope this helps anyone else who runs across this subject.
