Gap Between Lint Filter Outlet and Impeller fan

I have just finished replacing a drive belt and noticed that there is a gap between the felt gasget on the impeller assembly and the outlet from the lint filter. All assembly seems fine all screws lined up without any force and other than this gap (+-.25inch) everything aligns.
Do I need to worry about this or ignore it?
Thanks

Thanks It was never a real tight fit. If the inside of your dryer wasn't full of lint I probably wouldn't worry about it. It is replaceable though.
