I was canning on my smooth top ceramic stove and I dropped a full quart jar right on the heated element and smash. I don't have the new stove top yet, but I plan on replaceing it myself if it doesn't sound like converting the pope(impossible haha). I am pretty handy, but have no experience with something like this. If it was a chainsaw motor I'd have it fixed. I would love some help with this. Please, reliable advice only. I already have one idiot working on this thing.
