How do I get to the ignitor on this dryer. Do I have to remove the whole front panel assembly?
Thanks Bill

billt Yes, you do have to remove the front panel in order to get an access to the igniter. You can see how to do it on the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model LGR7646EQ3Here is the new dryer igniter and a step by step video on how to replace it: Part number: AP3094138
Good luck. Gene.

Thanks Gene that is exactly what I did and I discovered it was not the ignitor or the sensor but was the nonresettable fuse located in the back of the dryer. I have subsequently ordered the part from AP and hope to get it in short order. Thanks for the response.
