We had an electrical storm with a power outtage. When the power came back on the light in the lower over came on, and it has not gone out since. The switch on the control paned does not work and opening and closing the door does nothing. I went as far as shutting the power off at the electrical panel to see if I could get it to reset with no luck. Any ideas what may have blown? Is this something I can fix at home? Those halogen lights are hot! By the way, the light in the upper over works just fine. HELP!

When I began to take the front panel off of the oven so I could get access to the switch figuring I needed to replace it, a screw fell out. It turns out that the screw was part of the switch mounting that controlled how the light was triggered as the door opened. After I replaced the screw, all is working again. :) What a relief!
