A few weeks ago our dryer stopped working. The dryer runs but it does not heat in order to dry our clothes. My husband took it apart, cleaned out all the lint, and tested all the parts. We have sufficient voltage for the dryer to run. We have replaced the thermoster ($25.00) and the machine control electornics (199.00 by the time you pay tax, S$H). I am so frustrated that it is still not working. Sears wants to charge us $129.99 for someone to come out and look at it ... plus any parts would be an additional cost. HELP ME PLEASE .....

You need to also check the thermostat, thermal cut off and thermal fuse for continuity.
If these check out, check the heating element for resistance 12 to 20 ohms and make sure it is not broken or grounded.
Good luck.
