My GE dishwasher works fine except it does not drain water out. No leaks. Is it the control panel / switch or maybe a check valve? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Your unit has a drain solenoid attached to the pump, do you know whether it's activating or not? It will usually make a "clunk" sound when it does. If it's doing that, you may want to make sure there isn't an obstruction in the outlet where the drain hose attaches.

You didn't just install a new garbage disposer did you? Below is a picture of the solenoid.

Thanks Frank, I will check the solenoid. It isn't making any sound when it is supposed to kick in and start draining.
