I have a 2 year old maytag. The soap cup would not open up during the cycle. I came on here.. Was told to open the cover, check it out and found that the solenoid looked brown and burnt. I bought and replaced the entire cup assembly... And I still have the exact problem. What is the next thing to check for? Could the solenoid burning up somehow make another part go bad that controls the cup opening during the cycle? I'm at a loss here.
