I do not believe that it just pulls off because none of the others do either. There is very little room for screwdrivers or needle nose pliers in case there is a clip. Does anyone have experience with this?

The knob does not line up with the proper setting but it does move through its cycle sometimes. I will try again but it's like it is glued on. I wonder it was used by others while we were away???
