HI GUYS,
ANYONE ABLE TO ADVISE HOW/WHERE TO CONNECT THE CAPACITOR ON THE COMPRESSOR RELAY?
REASON IS I BOUGHT A UNIVERSAL RELAY/OVERLOAD not with CAPACITOR I THINK , SO I NOW NEED TO CONNECT THE CAPACITOR BUT TO TOO SURE WHERE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,PACKAGE SAYS TO MAKE A SERIES CONNECTION TO ADD THE CAPACITOR...........
DOES THIS MEAN I JUST ADD ANYWHERE ALONE THE "START" WIRE AND ANYWHERE ALONE THE "RUN" WIRE OF THE RELAY?????????????

I KNOW ITS BASIC,,,,,,,,,,,,I JUST WANT TO GET IT RIGHT.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

If your fridg had a run capacitor, usually 15 or 12 mfd. it must be wired between the start and run pins on the compressor.
To proceed further, you will need a meter to check things, if not, order the exact factory specified part and just replace the item wiring it per the old one.
