Our power blew out the other night for a split second and the temperature display is blinking with two little lines. We unplugged for 10 minutes and held the buttons down. No luck - Any better ideas on resetting? Can we replace the display and circuitry ourselves? What are the part numbers?

What are the part numbers? I know I've dug this up out of the netherworld, but as I've been dealing with the same issue, I figured I'd post for future users searching the web. Our machine did the same thing. I bought a new PCB board and installed it myself--very easy--and the new display continued to flash two little lines. Frustrated, I went back to the web and read the entire internet. I found a user with a different Samsung suggested holding in the Super Freeze and Super Cool buttons. Do this, keep holding them in while the display flashes, then it will start to beep annoyingly. Release the buttons, it will keep beeping, and after another 30 seconds the normal functional display pops up! I've had this fridge w/o a working display for 3 years b/c I thought it had larger issues. Which it may still have... but at least I know what temp it is now. Luke
