When my dryer is on, there is not heat. I opend the front and looked at the heating element while it was running and noticed that it is not red or hot. I did not see any part of the element broken.
1) How do I test the element to see if it is not burnt ?

You will need a multi meter to test the electrical components

First check to see if you have 120v to each side of the connector block. Then check each of the thermal fuses/thermostats for continuity. Finally check the heating element for resistance. You will need to pull it out to see that it is not broken, and it should have 12 to 20ohms.

Good luck
