My dryer started getting very noisy today and is vibrating. I checked to make sure it was balanced on the floor. Could it be the weights on the drum are off or a belt issue or something else????

My recommendation is to replace the drum assembly, but since that is an expensive part I would first replace the rollers, belt and idler pulley. These are less expensive, and could be causing your problem, and even if they do not solve the issue it is good maintenance.

Let us know what you do and how it turns out.
