exessive ice/water in freezer that will melt down into the refrig causing a real flood. The ice maker has been removed and water disconnected, so that is not the source. Gaskets are air-tight. Temp settings are both at recommended (3) setting. Any idea where all the water is coming from?

John John, You'll need to remove the evaporator cover( freezer rear wall) and check the defrost drain trough, and tube for a blockage, or freeze over. Some towels, hot water and a "Turkey Baster" works pretty good, if it is.
