Good Morning Everyone! Maybe someone can help me figure this out..., when disshwasher completes wash cycle it starts again. when the cancel drain function is selected the washer drains and then fires back up in normal wash mode. The only yhing that stops it is locking the control console. I dont have the user manual so Im not sure if this is a feature or a defective control board? any help would be appreciated! Chuck

Changed console and board...., Defective board maybe?
The washer seems to run ok until the end; open the door to take dishes out and close the door, and it starts in "normal wash cycle". if you lock the controls at the beginning of cycle, it will stop at the end. If yoiu try and lock or unlock the controls while the washer is warm the console locks and flashes and does not respond until it cools off a bit or continue to play with it; seems like a sticky relay possibly? Your thoughts are appreciated!
Chuck

Hi Chuck, Check the thermistor (#37 at the diagram) for continuity. It should read 47-53 K ohms @ 77°F and 12-13 K ohms @ 140°F. Check it at both temperatures. - The thermistor Part number: AP3177333

Thanks Gene! that one looks pretty challenging to get to! I know that the components in that pump do not come apart too easily, and advice on how to pull it apart; the last one i tried, the plastic parts were prety much fused together, it would be easier tao just swap the assembly! how do you get the thermister to that temp for testing? Thanks again chuck

Chuck,
You can easy access it by removing the bottom panel. The thermistor is attached to the pump housing from the bottom of the pump and secured with 2 screws.

I never did it myself. Run the test at the room temperature first. It might be enough.
