Dryer takes 2 hours to dry a small load of clothes.
Vent is clear.
Hot air comes out of the vent.
Heating coils are working (glow red).
Also, when turned on automatic dry, the dryer will run for many hours.
What does seem to be happening is that the drum seems to turn very slowly, could this be part of the problem? Also, could the thermostats not be working correctly, and how would I check the thermostats? Any suggestions on what else I should check would be appreciated.
Thanks

if the drum turns to slow than heat isnt being spread across much of the clothing area. imagin how long it would take to use a blow dryer on a pile of cloths. You might Want to check the belt. If its slipping replace it. if the moters not turning fast you may have to replace it. Hope fully its the belt
