I need a wiring schematic for my Kenmore refrigerator model 106.9547611, s/n SD3328491, type 27SSA94. My son is a refrigeration technician and I lost my schmatic. My refrigerator defrost stopped running.....the refrigerator and freezer lights went out and the icemaker in the door stopped. He looked at the defrost timer and wiggled a connection and it started running again. A week later, it stopped. He then put in a different timer but it's shorting out. He needs the schematic to following the wiring to see it there is a defect somewhere. I really need my schematic badly. Is there anywhere I can purchase one if I can't get one online???? PLEASE HELP....I've been without a frig for four days now. My son is a certified residential and commercial refrigeration tech and I really can't afford to pay a Sears technician (in this economy) when my son is qualified. I know my schematic is missing. We looked everywhere in the frig....and elsewhere.

Barbara,

The only place where you can find it is Sears.

I called Sears and told them I lost the schematic for my refrigerator model #106.9547611 and needed one so my son could complete the repair. She told me I couldn't get one because Sears wants to do the repairs. Is that legal? The refrigerator comes with a schematic (supposedly), so if my son is a refrigeration technician, why can't he fix it? It's like not letting you order a part because a Sears tech would have to install it. Is that legal????

Please reply....Thanks.....Barb Elliott

Do I have to contact a certain person at Sears in order to get this schematic? Isn't it considered like ordering a part....I'm really desperate.....I haven't had a frig in four days trying to locate a schematic!!! HELP!!!

The part number for the "Service and wiring sheet" is 2169339 and you can buy it from Sears for $4.55 plus S&H.

My son does commercial refrigeration and has tried to fix my refrigerator. He is completely stumped!!!!!

There was no power to interior lights, ice dispenser or door light(water), but water dispenser works. It started operating correctly when he was moving wires around 9 pin molex connector. It ran for about 5days and then shut down again.

When the thermostat is turned on, the evaporator fan goes off and the condensing unit comes on. When the thermostat is turned off, the evaporator fan goes on and the condensing unit goes off.

He tried a new defrost timer which was unsuccessful in solving the problem. He also replaced overheat thermostat, and checked relay on defrost timer and that was okay. He tested the defrost circuit with electronic timer and it did not respond.

Suspect the problem is in wiring harness behind molex connector (inside refrigerator compartment, but cannot figure out how to get to it.

We finally received the wiring schematic thanks to your help.

Do you have any idea what the cause of the problem might be, or do we need to call Sears?!!!#&!!!

Thanks,

Barb & Chuck

If you can post the wiring diagram - it might help.

I do not have a scanner. Can I fax this to you or perhaps have someone else send it on their computer. Need a fax number or e-mail address for you.

Thanks,
