My Kitchenaid dishwasher's control panel died in April 09 and was replaced. In Aug 09 the control panel died again, 1 month after the 90 day warranty had expired. For a part costing well over $200, and with labor a cost of over $300, Kitchenaid refuses to replace part and claims that since they dont manufacture parts its really not their problem! Why then are they even in the parts business? Obviously their quality control only applies to new appliances. After having bought and used Kitchenaid dishwashers for over 25 years I will never buy another product from this company.

I thought I was buying the best. Never again I will buy brand X and a new one when it dies for half the money. Did any body fine out what the problem is with these controls?
