My refrigerator has been leaking water on the bottom under the crispers for about a month. I suspect it is a cloged drain but am not sure how to get to the drain to unclog it. My freezer is on top and I think the drain is up there somewhere but I'm not sure how to take the ice maker off to pull the back panel of freezer off on the inside.

The drain is located under the evaporator coil in the freezer.

In order to get access to the drain you have to remove the freezer floor (#25 on the liner break down diagram) and the evaporator cover (#16 on the liner break down diagram).

To defrost the drain and clean it you can use a hair dryer and hot water.

Good luck.
Gene.
