Hi,

My mother's dryer will not start. It's a gas model. When you turn the cycle knob and press it to start, it just makes a click sound and nothing else happens. I ended up bringing it to my house to work on it so only the power cord is connected currently.

I took it apart a little and the belt is intact. I found a service manual inside the service panel and ran diagnostics as explained in the manual. The error codes that came up are:

1. Power failure (serveral)
2. Dryness sensor bar possibly open

I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you.
