I have a modular type ice maker which stopped cycling. I purchased a replacement kit, put it in, and waited 24 hours for the thermostat to get to the proper temp. The wheel is still not turning, it looks like the ice maker is not getting power. The electrical connection is very straightforward. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

On the modular ones you should be able to take off the IM cover and see some test points. One should be marked L one should be marked N if memory serves me right. If you have a meter you can see if you're getting 120 volts at that point.

What was the replacement part# you installed. If you can get the complete model # that would be helpfull also.

Thank you Frank.

My complete fridge model number is RS25AEXLQ00, and the modular ice maker I purchased is an FSR 4317943. It looks exactly like the original one.

I use a multitester between the L and N connections as you advised, and there is no power.

Thanks again very much for your advice.
