:rolleyes: Wash cycle started, I opened lid to add item, a few moments later cycle did not continue! Tub full of water and nothing happens!! Help!?

Given that the problem started when you lifted the lid, a likely source of the difficulty is the lid switch. Play around with it, and see if that works, and if you can, try to by-pass it and see if that solves the problem. If it does, replace the lid switch.

If you still cannot get it to work then post the full model number and let us know the results of testing the lid switch.
