When trying to replace my oven door into it's proper position I encountered a problem with what I think are the pins on the left-hand side . So what I wanted to ask is - Can I get to the pins by removing the side panel of the oven and how difficult would that be ?

It is very strange but these parts are not shown on the diagrams for this model. Thinking logically, you have to access them by removing the side panels.
