The noise has a couple of elements. When running, it doesn't sound terribly different from normal operations, just louder and with a put-ta-pa, put-ta-pa, put-ta-pa pattern. At the end of a sequence, there is brief pause, followed by a very definite ka-thud. I have opened the front, and could not convince myself that a major source of noise was from the rollers, but I am not sure. It sometimes gives off a deep clattering-type of sound as well.

What are your thoughts? Rollers, rotor drum, idler, evil spirits?

Thanx for any help.
