I have a Kitchen Aid Pro Series KESI901pbl00, s/n xs4501582. The RR burner won't turn on. Do you think it is the burner or the infinite switch or something else. The burner p/n from K A is 8523694. I don't know the p/n for the switch. Your p/n's are different from K A's so what are your equivalent p/n's?
Also, is there a trick to removing the cook top? It is mounted into a counter so the sides are not accessible. Do you have to slide it out or can the switch and/or burner be replaced with it in position?
Thanks!

Do you have to slide it out or can the switch and/or burner be replaced with it in position?... The cause of this problem can be a bad infinite switch as well as a bad heating element. You have to check both parts for continuity to find which part is bad. This is a slide-in range and in order to disassemble the control panel as well as the stove top, you will need to pull it out to get access from the sides. The instructions are attached to the reply. - The infinite switch Part number: AP3008912
