Hello,
I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that is 4 years old. After the repairmen replaced the door seal a number of times while it was in warranty due to leaking, I found out what was wrong. They were placing the seal in reversed. I have now put in a new seal and it does not leak a drop. But now the door will at times pop open after it gets hot during use. And at times the door will not stay locked. It locks and holds good when cool but when hot it does not.

I looked at new washers like this one and the door latch and strike are different. Was this latch/strike a lemon and Kitchen Aid made a fix for it??

I would purchase a new latch/strike and replace them if this would help because this was a very expensive dishwasher and it has lots of life left in it. Thank You for your help.
