Hi there everyone!
I have a KUDI01TJBL0 Kitchen Aid Dishwasher and it appears that I may have an issue with the touch panel. The panel lights up but when the start button is pressed, nothing happens. I am able to press the drain button and that will run just fine.
To solve the problem, I thought it was the electronic control board. I purchased that and the symptoms still remained the same. I do not think its the thermal fuse because how would I still get power to the thing and its not the door latch because it is draining. Is my last resort then the touch panel replacement?

There are two parts which can cause such problem: the key (control) panel and the control board. More common issue is a bad control panel and I always recommend to replace the control panel first if you can not perform a good tests to diagnose it. You already replaced the control board, so there is nothing left but the control panel. If you need the correct part number, post the color of it. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Whirlpool KUDI01TJBL0 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.comGene.
