Rank: Member Groups ready for retrieval: Registered Joined: 8/11/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		My unit is not cooling. I hear a clicking sound every 1 or 2 mins, which I assume is the relay kicking in. The motor is on and the fan is opperational. I feel air from the fan in the freezer, but no cool air. I have replaced the start relay and capacitor, but there was no change. What do you think? Alton. Maytag Refrigerator Model# MFD2560HES.

An amprobe check would confirm, either a burnt start winding or varnish buildup in the compressor.
