Hello,
I have notice that my refrigerator runs longer then used to.I clean the condenser coil and replaced the temperature control switch. I thinking that this was the problem,but two days later the food in the freezer is somewhat frozen and the ice too.The compressor is working at the time.The refrigerator has some years on it and looks great. Do you have any ideals on what else could be going on with my refrigerator.Please help your friend in need.

Thanks:confused::confused:

Hello, Caical.

Tell me ,please if the evaporator fan runs with door closed?

Next thing - do you see any frost or snow build up on the rear panel in the freezer?

If the fan runs and no snow open the rear panel and look at the evaporator.
Is it covered with frost fully or partially?

Please reply.

Hi, Calcal.

From what you telling me there is the sealed system problem.

Most likely freon leak or weak compressor. In any case you need a professional help and it wont be cheap.

Good luck.
