I am replacing the dryer motor in my kenmore / whirlpool dryer. The problem is when I turn the motor shaft it just keeps turning and never unscrews. Feels like it is stripped. Watched video and am amazed that once it is loose it can be unscrewed with fingers, mine never gets loose. Yes I know it has left handed threads. What do I do at this point ?

You seem to be missing the first 3 digits of your model number.
I am sorry but I do not understand your problem. Is it the blower wheel that you are trying to get off the motor shaft? |

Hello. Unfortunately you are right. the blower has to be replaced. That happens once in the while. You will have to open the rear cover and remove the chute. Brake the old blower and take the old motor out. The blower Part number: AP2997251
Use the opportunity and clean the chute and vent. Thank you and good luck.
