I have an ice maker that will not stop making ice cubes. The fill sensor does not stop the ice making process. I have switched the sensor switch to the stop position, but it keeps on making ice. It is a Kenmore side by side mode 10652699100. I occassionally see water dripping down on the insde of the freezer door. Is the sensor bad? If so, how can I manually shut it off when the ice holder is full.

Looks like one or both of the PC boards (on both sides in the freezer) have gone bad. It is not possible to turn the ice maker off unless you unplug the ice maker wire harness plug. The correction is to replace the PC boards.
