Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/8/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a free standing Whirlpool icemaker, model no. EC5100XT. Ice will build up on the freezer plate and then transfer to the cutting grid. However, the wires on the cutting grid do not get warm so the ice slab simply melts on the grid. The grid seems to be in good shape otherwise. Any help would be appreciated.
