Hi. We purchased the HD17282U/03 dual gas range/electric oven a little over a year ago. Approximately 5 months ago, the oven ceased to heat up (whether on convection or regular setting) to a specified temperature, i.e. we would set the temp. to 425 degrees and it will only heat to 385 degrees, then begin decreasing in temperature getting to around 285 degrees. Thus, it isn't currrently functional as an oven, just a gas range.
The manual offers no potential solutions and I have written Bosch customer service and will call them on Monday. Unfortunately I have done some digging on the internet but found no solutions, yet loads of issues with Bosch appliances which doesn't provide me any comfort. Additionally, there were many complaints about Bosch's customer service thus I am hoping someone here may have a potential solution. While my husband is quite handy, he is stumped by this one.
I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you!
