Yesterday my Bosch Dishwasher SHE55M05UC /50 stopped draining. Seemed to make an unusual noise on and off for a few days leading up to the problem.

Looking for suggestions on how to diagnose the problem - any tests I can run?

You will want to test for power coming to the drain pump assembly. If there is power there, and the pump does not run, you will need to replace the drain pump. Make sure the pump is not clogged with debris, and the hose is clear on the unit. There is a attachment on the bottom to help you with the drain pump installation. You can test this with a multi-meter [AP3873826]. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros...continuity-ohmmeter.html

In the instructions I attached to the last post, it tells you how to remove the pump and shows you a picture of the pump. Once you access the pump, you will remove the wires from the pump and release the locking tab and turn the pump to remove it. Hope this helps.
