My ice maker doesn't fill up. I get water out of the water dispenser on the front of the fridge. I had the water valve tested and they said both sides worked and said all that they could think of that controlled when the valve opened to fill the ice tray was the ice maker itself. So I purchased a new one and installed it. I still have the same problem. I can get water out of the door but not filling the ice maker.
The plugs on each side of the valve are different sizes so I can't swap them. The plastic hoses screw on pieces are also different sizes so I can't swap them.
What else could be causing no power to the valve other than the ice maker itself?
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
Thanks

No problem. The ice maker needed time to get to the cycle of filling the tray before it would start to work. It is making ice now.
