It does not happen every time. But 7 out of 10 uses the dryer will shut down and have to be re-started. Sometimes once is enough but other times it can be 2,3,4 or more re-starts. Vacuuming out excess lint doesn't seem to fix the problem. I have not checked the hose venting outdoors yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Very possible the problem is a clogged venting.
Best regards. Gene.

Replaced dryer hose, exterior vent, and blew out the entire underside of the dryer with my air compressor then vacuumed what was left. So far everything works fine. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
