Hello.

Most likely you have bad control coils. They are relatively easy to replace. The second choice is the safety gas valve assembly - comes with the coils. I would suggest you to start with coils. The unused parts, purchased from us can be returned.

The control coils set Part number: AP3094251

tell me why i can have a good coil test with a meter(tested ohms reading on coils)and you think i should replace them....im dont saying you could be wrong just trying to understand how i could get a good reading on each coil and they still could be the reason for replacement

Hi.

You need to take reading of the coils right after gas fail to ignite. First check the coil with 2 contacts. When the defective coil gets hot it's ether opens or shorts. On my experience the bad safety valve is very seldom case.

I hope I've answered your question.

Please post the results.
