I have a Thermador dishwasher TD 5500 that is 17 years old. Some parts are not available from Thermador anymore. When the wash cycles begin, there are 2 leaks separate leaks coming from the front left inside side of the door, about 6" in from the left. The first is at the beginning of the first wash cycle, it is about 2 ounces and is sudsy; the second is at the beginning of the next wash/water cycle, it is about 6 ounces and is sudsy. The leak is below the Jet-Dry liquid container area. I have looked and felt at the inside of the door (where the door meets the tub) and there seems to be an area of about 5-6 inches where there is no gasket, or else it is pushed under and crushed causing this leak.
What should I do? Should I unscrew the screws on the inside of the door and remove the panel and try and reposition the gasket or will this be a problem reassembling the soap and Jet Dry dispensers? Can I put kitchen and bath 100% silicone at thisd area to stop the leak?
Please, your suggestions.
Thanks.

I am having exactly the same problem. Thermador (owned by Bosch) Dishwasher TD 5500 works perfectly except that it leaks, mainly on the left side. Door seal, Part No. 01-36-901, is obsolete and unavailable except Expert Appliances sells Part No. Z12=TD 5500-20THERMD for $135. Thermador parts List seems to show a bottom seal for the inner door but there is no part number. Thermador also shows an upper baffle ((01-36-155) and a grommet (09-01-599) and a baffle assembly (01-36-748) for the outer door. Expert Appliances sells a Lower Door Seal (Z11-TD 5500-32THERMD) for $163.
Did you ever get your leak fixed? How?
Anyone know equivalent parts or universal parts for the TD 5500? Anyone know how to fix TD 5500 door leaks?
Thanks
